Analyses - With TARGIT BI suite you have two ways to create rich analyses with very few clicks: The user can create an analysis by either using the “drag and drop” analysis function, or by using the intelligent wizard: “I would like to analyse…”. The wizard guides the user through to the desired result by asking a series of questions.  With just a few clicks users can create and navigate intuitively in the most advanced analyses. All objects in an analysis are dynamically interrelated, and with a single click on a dimension in an object, this dimension will be adapted as a criterion to other objects in the analysis. In addition, detailed explanations are added.

Reports  The easiest way to prepare a report is to start the report wizard and select “I would like to create a report…”. You are then guided, step by step, through the process. You are asked what data you wish to process in the report and what graphic elements you wish to support it with, and when you are finished, you simply click on “Go”. The report is then generated automatically and the user can choose whether the report should be printed or distributed electronically in the desired format. All types of reports can be created in no time. You can also freely distribute reports across language barriers and physical boundaries, for example via e-mail or websites. Report data can be further analysed in TARGIT BI Suite. The user can simply click on a figure in the report to be transferred to an analysis of the figure in question. We call this revolutionary feature, Hyper Related OLAP. 

Intelligent Dashboards – The Intelligent Dashboard is a new and well-arranged way of visualizing the progress of the company. The dashboard will provide an overview of the company’s Key Performance Indicators through new gauges and trend indicators. You can easily get from a dashboard to the underlying analysis. Dashboards and analyses are 100 per cent integrated, and one single click on a gauge in a dashboard therefore opens up an analysis which will explain the development in details. Intelligent agents can be used to notify changes in figures of your own choice. The dashboard also allows for Timebar Drill & Simulation, which will reveal correlations among the Key Performance Indicators through time.    

The Business Philosophy behind TARGIT Business Intelligence Suite  

TARGIT software is built around a holistic philosophy that we refer to as CALM: Computer Aided Leadership & Management. The idea is that a business process for any person in an organization is a cycle of Observation, Orientation, Decision and Action.

Meta Morphing – Analyses, dashboards and reports are created in a few clicks using TARGIT’s patented technology which guides users through to the desired result.  

Hyper Related OLAP – Your analyses, reports or dashboards do not have to be static. A single click on any given figure opens a detailed analysis and allows you to further examine the results.  

Storyboards - A series of real-time analyses can be published as a video, a slideshow or a podcast. Distribute data on a large screen and inspire everybody to act in alliance with the company goals. There are a myriad of possibilities with Storyboards. For instance, the company’s market share, number of complaints, or sales in different regions be displayed to a large screen in the production hall, so all employees can follow the effect of their work in real time.

Intelligent Search - Learn more about the context of any active analysis. One click combines structured analysis data with your unstructured data from e-mails and other documents. Intelligent Search is developed based on Windows Desktop Search technology, and it integrates with Microsoft Search Server 2008, enabling you to combine local search with server side search to uncover elaborated details about your data and your company! This is a truly unique functionality which you will only find in TARGIT BI Suite!  

Intelligent Agents - A wide variety of intelligent agents are incorporated throughout the solution. They help ensure that the organization can react quickly to market changes. The system will automatically notify you on your desktop or send you an e-mail when certain goals or numbers are or are not reached.  

Sentinels - Sentinels are prediction based rules that will al­low you to get an early warning. With Sentinels you can expand the horizon for for your noti­fication agents and can therefore react faster if the environment around your organization changes.  

Choose freely among several languages - You can always choose to view analyses in your own language, regardless of the language used when the original analysis was created. TARGIT is currently available in 16 languages and more will be included.

TARGIT via the Internet – With the web license you can access company data, reports and analyses anywhere in the world. You can create analyses and work with full data security in real-time.  

Info from TARGIT on your Desktop – Intelligent Dashboards and analyses are integrated with your Windows Desktop, allowing you to access your TARGIT information before the TARGIT suite has been opened – and you can react quickly to critical deviations.  

What-If Simulation - With one single click you can find out how your figures will change if the turnover increases or decreases – globally or locally. The What-If Simulation functions primarily as drill-down, and it uses the information that you have already given the system.
